Set up something like this in the Q&A table:

    ClientName        Who's the client?

ClientRole           What's the client's role? (choice of Petitioner or Respondent)

MaintPayor        Who pays maintenance? (choice of Client or Opponent)

OppRole              [derived answer resulting in either "Petitioner" or "Respondent", as appropriate]

Then you can put two conditional phrases in the form.

    1.  If MaintPayor=Client, then use this phrase:  "Requiring the {ClientRole} to pay for the maintenance of the {OppRole}"

    2.  If MaintPayor=Opponent, then use this phrase:  "Requiring the {OppRole} to pay for the maintenance of the {ClientRole}"
